Automatic Machine Products is an advanced precision machine shop and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of refrigeration and air-conditioning shut-off and service valves and related assemblies, fittings, and components. AMP focuses on the processes, equipment, and knowledge involved in modern precision machining and furnace brazing. We are skilled in milling, turning, facing, boring and tapping, using a variety of materials (steel, aluminium, copper, brass, lead-free ECO-brass, stainless and nickel, plastics and more).

AMP is the original manufacturer of Primore® valves. In addition to valves, Automatic Machine is a supplier of precision machined components and manufacturing services to a variety of industries. Our vertically integrated manufacturing operation allows control of nearly all aspects of production. An experienced and dedicated team combined with extensive manufacturing capability allows AMP to reliably provide our business partners with the highest quality products at competitive prices.

Automatic Machine was founded in 1923 to manufacture radio parts. For almost 100 years, Automatic has been a key supplier to critical industries including HVAC, automotive, medical, defense, potable water products and aerospace. Since 1946 AMP has been a world leader in steel and brass shut-off and service valve manufacture and design. Today AMP supports many diverse industries and we are proud to provide quality components that provide support to our troops and special forces out on the battlefield.

Automatic Machine Products has operated as a precision machine shop in Attleboro, Massachusetts for over 85 years. In 2008 Automatic successfully completed relocation to a new, modern facility in nearby Taunton, Massachusetts. AMP’s diverse and highly skilled work force consists of approximately 70 dedicated employees who are ready to serve you.
